We left the quarter 90 minutes ago and we haven’t even passed the airport yet. We should have been home 30 minutes ago but probably won’t make it home for another 3 or 4 hours. What the hell were we thinking when we decided to go to new Orleans last night for southern decadence? We stayed out til like 4 this morning. Decent sized crowd out last night but today was pretty much dead, so we left early. Wishing now we would have just stayed home last night!!!

ok, so yesterday was my 43rd birthday. had a chocolate and lemon dobash cake at work, my absolute favorite! YUM! had dinner out at la carreta’s with a few friends, then the bf and i went to the buzz with tiffany and brian to see the chee weez. tons of hot college bois there i would have loved to bring home for a late night birthday present!

my man just gave me my birthday present a day early. an i-phone! woohoo, go me!
yes, vikki, it is time for a post! it’s been over two weeks since i have written anything, simply because i’ve been too damn busy at work to find time, and even busier at home!
cassidy competed in the 19th annual miss gay louisiana america pageant last thursday and friday in baton rouge, so the past few weeks leading up to that have been extremely hectic getting costumes finished, props completed, along with rehearsals. oh, and don’t forget tupperware! just to show you how busy we were, we didn’t even have time for sex!!! out of control, i tell ya!
anyways, cassidy has competed at MGLA four times, and had never placed in the top 5. so our goal this year was simply that- top 5 and a chance to compete on final night. she brought a killer package that nobody was expecting! and friday night, her name was called to compete in top 5! she finished 3rd overall, just seven points out of 2nd place! she fuckin’ kicked ass! next year, she will win the crown, so you bitches better watch out!!!

anastacia davenport, our good friend from lafayette, won the title. i was very excited that she won, and i’ve already told her next year she’ll crown cassidy.
ok, the “diet”… well, with all the madness and stress, we haven’t been to the gym in two weeks. we haven’t been perfect angels with our eating either, but we haven’t been totally out of control. i don’t think we’ve lost any more weight, but neither have we gained any back. we will be back in the gym by the w/e! just needed a few days after mgla to recuperate.
kudos to my cousin vikki in d.c. for losing 14 more pounds! i hope you know how proud i am of you! i will write soon and catch you up on everything else i didn’t blog about here.
